Week of 11/11/08 training plans

This will be a new weekly blog to hook up with friends of athleteinyou.com in my area to train. So guys, you know who you are, we will respond on this blog to confirm meeting and training plans. Log on frequently to confirm if you can make it or not.
Monday: We will meet at 11:45am at the baseball fields for a 13 mile mountain bike on the Pah Rah mountain loop. Will see you there.

Have to agree, incredible
Have to agree, incredible day. I stayed on road a little longer and ended up with just under 50miles for the day.
Taking tomorrow off. See you guys next week.

Beautiful day today, not a cloud in the sky. Most of us pressed for time and did not get as many miles in as I would have liked.
Believe I ended the day with just under 27 miles. Thanks A.G. for making me climb the steep hills early on!

Yeah baby! The legs work good when running, but you definately are hard to keep up with on the bike.

Good day of speed work. 5 miles of total work with a handful of 800's. Kudos to Kenny, 2:36 800m - fast dude! You are gonna make me faster.
I am taking tomorrow off from working out. Saturday will be at least a 3hr bike ride or longer. Weather looks to be nice. Will try to ride about 10:30am, since we all live in different parts of town. Maybe we can meet on the road somewhere.
Thinking of riding to Verdi, maybe meet by 11:00am at corner of N. Virginia/McCarren Blvd. by UNR. I will have a couple other riders with me too. Post if you can make it.

Another good ride today for those that made it. Weather is still cold outside. Everyone on their own for workout tomorrow but can anyone meet on Thursday at Damonte Ranch High School track for some speed work? Weather is supposed to warm up a bit again.

Today's ride was tough. Never ridden in the Pah Rah's, lot of rocks and hard to keep a consistent rhythm. Can see how that ride will make anyone a better rider.
