Long Absense Cut Short
So I know that it has been a while since my last post, but I have been ridiculously busy with other things and didn't feel like spending 5 minutes to update everyone, sounds lazy right. Anyway, there is no way that I can tell you everything that happened to me and around me in the last couple of weeks, but here is the short list.
-
La Jolla Rough Water Swim, and a night out on the town in San Diego with movie stars.
-
Resting Heart Rate dropped to 42 beats per minute from 55.
-
Parties galore.
-
A couple of new web design jobs.
-
Coach Copperfield fell off the planet again, and hasn't talked to me in at least a week and counting.
-
Got my new Giant
-
Saki Bombing with the TriCats
-
Made disparaging remarks and got reprimanded on the TriCats forum.
-
AthleteInYou is a lot farther along.
-
Downtown Ninja Mission goes haywire, like always.
-
Started to get hit on by girls in restraunts, bars, and house parties and guys in bars.
For those of you that don't know, last year, I was heavily involved in the TriCats organization which acheived great success. Now there are new officers and a lot of new members, and it kind of got off to a shaky start just like last year. But it seems to be headed down the right road now... They are openly discussing the goals and direction of the club, and it seems to me that people can finally take ownership and be a part of a team this year. It took a semester for the club to get where they are right now, so I think that they will be ok.
Anyway, here is an update.... Yesterday I went to Sabino Cycles and picked up a brand new Giant Trinity A1 at 6:15 pm right before the shop closed and then skidaddled over to the Rec Center for the TriCats meeting. I got there at around 6:30 pm, the meeting started at 6:00pm. There were a lot of people there, probably 70. It was pretty funny when I walked in there with the new Giant, I actually got a round of applause for the bike, and after the meeting ended many people came up to talk about Giant and Sabino Cycles. It was interesting.
